“You Are Priest for Priestess for …

“You Are Priest for Priestess for …

… Your family, friends, in-laws, outlaws, neighbors, and co-workers!”

You are the only spiritual representative and the only Jesus that many in your sphere of influence will ever see! You are an ambassador from God Himself to those around you.

Do you have a hostile teen in your family? A son or daughter, grandchild, or your friend’s child outside the Kingdom of God? You must face this question: “What will I do about those around me who need so much? I feel like I have so little to offer them!”

Consider this promise from God’s Word: “‘As for Me,’ says the Lord, ‘This is my covenant with them (that is you and me): My Spirit which is upon you, and My Words which I have put in your mouth, shall not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your descendants, nor from the mouth of your descendants’ descendants (grandkids & great grandkids)’ says the Lord, ‘from this time and forevermore.’” Isaiah 59:21

That is God’s Promise to you. It is what God empowered you with. So, the next time you see the daunting face of a teen relative of yours spewing out all their fears and rebellion, smile real big, and say, “You haven’t got a chance. My Jesus promised you will serve the Lord. I shall pray, fast, and never give up, because Jesus never breaks His promises!”

I want to make a case as to WHY you ought to respond to the challenge of being a Priest or Priestess for your family, friends, and others in your sphere of influence:

  • You are the only Jesus representative many of them will ever know!
  • You are a debtor to the One who set you free from your sin load of debt!
  • Jesus commissioned you to GO and tell others about Him.
  • It is your prayers that will break the rebellious spirit of those around you.
  • How will you feel if someone you should have given a testimony to, and tons of knee-time praying for their soul, goes to hell, because you chose to do nothing?
  • What will be the measure of your joy when you get to Heaven, and someone meets you there with the greatest joy and the largest smile saying, “You are the reason I am in Heaven. I am eternally grateful to you because you witnessed and prayed for me to come to Christ!”?

I leave this verse for you to prayerfully consider: “Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.” 2 Corinthians 5:20

Hello, You Ambassador of Jesus Christ!
