“Let Not Your Heart be Troubled”

“Let Not Your Heart be Troubled”

I would like to clarify a few things! There is simply too much hype that creates an inordinate amount of fear and panic. Historically, stupid stuff happens when people panic. October 24, 1929, the US Stock Market crashed, but the reports are highly dramatized. A few people committed suicide in one form or another; however, research leads to describe despair, but few killed themselves.

Jesus encourages us, ”And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. SEE THAT YOU ARE NOT TROUBLED, for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.”  Mt. 24:6

Matthew 24 warns of other cataclysmic events to come: Severe persecution of Christians, false prophets arising, many people taking offense, people will flee to the mountains, great tribulations such as never happened before will occur, the sun will be darkened, the moon won’t shine, stars will fall from the skies …. Then Jesus will come and the whole world will see it happen! The final warnings as the chapter ends: Be ready!  Watch!  Don’t be troubled!

Currently, we are experiencing supposed pandemics, stock market crashing, and lots of other things. Are you aware while there certainly is risk of disease, pestilence, famine, and economic failure, Jesus is still in control?

Again, the words of Jesus should be heralded. “See that you are not troubled!”

Dear Ones, there are most certainly troubles … lots of troubles, and lots of questions. There will be in the present, as well as in the future. The “What if’s” can plague your night times … the doubts, the fears, the hype of news. I firmly believe we should read our Bible and spend as much time on our knees as we do watching CBS, NBC, ABC, FOX, CNN, MSNBC, etc.!!!!!

Take the Bible advice: “Let Not Your Heart Be Troubled!”

You Are In Our Prayers,

Pastor Stan
